M.D. Piotr Lepka

I am a specialist in gynaecological oncology and obstetrics and gynaecology. On a daily basis I work at the Oncology Gynaecology Unit of the Lower Silesian Centre for Oncology, Pulmonology and Haematology in Wrocław and as a teacher at the Oncology Department of the Piastów Śląskich Medical University in Wrocław.

I specialise in the laparoscopic treatment of gynaecological tumours, particularly in patients with obesity, and also in radical procedures for ovarian, fallopian tube and peritoneal cancer. I have been passionate about minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures for many years and have had the pleasure of providing training in Poland and abroad for other doctors and students. The issue of cervical cancer is very close to my heart, which is why I comprehensively help my patients, starting with prevention and necessary diagnostics up to and including surgical treatment. In addition to oncological gynaecology, I also provide diagnosis and laparoscopic surgical treatment of benign gynaecological diseases such as ovarian cysts, myomas, uterine cavity polyps and endometriosis.

I have gained my experience through many courses and fellowships at, among others, the European Institute of Oncology in Milan (IEO) and the Department of Gynaecological Oncology at the Medical University of Oslo. I am a member of the Polish Society of Gynaecological Oncology and the European Council of Gynaecological Oncology.
