M.D. Piotr Lepka

I am a specialist in gynaecological oncology and obstetrics and gynaecology. On a day-to-day basis, I work at the Oncology Gynaecology Unit of the Lower Silesian Centre for Oncology, Pulmonology and Haematology in Wrocław and as a teacher at the Department of Oncology of the Piastów Śląskich Medical University in Wrocław.

He specialises in the laparoscopic treatment of gynaecological cancers, particularly in patients with obesity and also in radical procedures for ovarian, fallopian tube and peritoneal cancer. I have been passionate about minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures for many years, in which I have had the pleasure of providing training in Poland and abroad for other doctors and students. The issue of cervical cancer is very close to my heart, which is why I comprehensively help patients from prevention and the necessary diagnostics to surgical treatment inclusive. In addition to oncological gynaecology, I also deal with the diagnosis and laparoscopic surgical treatment of benign gynaecological conditions such as ovarian cysts, uterine myomas, uterine cavity polyps and endometriosis.

I have gained my experience from a number of courses and fellowships at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan (IEO) and the Department of Gynaecological Oncology at the University of Oslo Medical School, among others. I am a member of the Polish Society of Gynaecological Oncology and the European Council of Gynaecological Oncology.
